The history of Café du Palais began with Louis Millet, who bought the Café du Grand Théâtre in Reims city centre with his wife in 1930, later renamed Café du Palais. The second generation developed the restaurant little by little, according to their preferences, to give it this heterogeneous style. The Art Deco style seems to fit in very well with this interior, today taken over by Isabelle, Sébastien and their children, the fifth generation of the family. The Champagne Gardet Blanc de Noirs fits perfectly into the light, festive spirit of this bistro.

Champagne Gardet has been working now with the high-end caterer, Kaspia Réceptions, based in the Paris region. This establishment organises events in exceptional locations throughout France and offers gastronomic dishes. Like Maison Gardet, Kaspia Réceptions makes it a point of honour to preserve its know-how while combining it with a more contemporary vision of receptions. During this collaboration, Kaspia Réceptions will offer the Brut Tradition vintage.

Fine Wine Delivery’s first office was Jeff and Virginia Poole’s spare room in Torbay in 1997. Following their dream and passion for fine wine, Jeff and his family have grown Fine Wine Delivery Co into New Zealand’s largest wine retailer. The business has always been based on passion, knowledge and absolute dedication to the sale of great wines, which is very much in line with the values of Champagne Gardet and explains the long collaboration and friendship between the two brands.
