TASTING NOTES
130th Anniversary, Millésime Extra-Brut 2015 is a wine in which Pinot Noir (70%) bursts with fruit and indulgence, while Chardonnay (30%) reveals beautiful minerality and vibrant acidity. Aged on lees in bottle for over 8 years, it surprises with its freshness and mineral character, enhanced by its extra-brut dosage of 4 g/L. Its robe is golden yellow, with fine and elegant bubbles. On the nose, the first impression is intensely generous, dominated by aromas of white-fleshed fruits, with juicy pear, quince, and white peach. This is followed by delicate white floral notes (jasmine and acacia), then more subtle aromas of sugared almonds and toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, the attack is both fresh and creamy. The mouthfeel is full and indulgent. Flavors of lemon zest, brioche, and minerality follow one another, leading to a lingering finish with elegant, persistent notes of citrus peel (lemon).
To complete your experience, we suggest harmonious flavours to match this champagne, such as amuse-bouches, cocktail canapés, a cheese platter or low-temperature cooked poultry with ravioles.
