I certify that I am of legal ageThis vintage 2013 is modern and bold at the same time.
Pinot grapes burst out their mature fruitful aromas, while Chardonnay grapes showcase their minerality and a bright acidity. Made from a blend of one third Chardonnay and two thirds Pinot Noir, Champagne Millésime 2013 Extra-Brut is surprisingly fresh and mineral, making it the perfect guest for trendy brunches.

Bottling & Shipping
Weather: Cold winter and spring; unusually cool temperatures until the end of June; hot and sunny summer, with occasional thunderstorms; cool and humid in September.
Harvest:
Start: Late. Around October 1st in the Montagne de Reims.
Conditions: October is here, mild at the beginning then becoming colder.
Characteristics: Nice fruits resulting from a slow maturation.
Summary: A particularly cool year like Champagne do not see a lot anymore. Very qualitative, grapes are lively with a great sour side.
Optimal serving temperature between 8 to 10°C (46 to 50°F).
COLOUR: Brilliant golden yellow with fine, abundant bubbles.
NOSE: Notes of lemon and pastry (lemon meringue pie). Also yellow fruit (peach, apricot) and white flowers. There is a hint of herbs and gunflint.
PALATE: aromas of squeezed lemon develop on the palate, with a few notes of brioche and vanilla to round off the tasting. Aromas of white flowers and orange zest bring a mineral finish and a slight presence of tannins.
This Champagne can be served with canapés, finger food, or a cheese platter (aged Cheddar, Cantal and Mimolette). As a main course, it would be perfect with poultry cooked at a low temperature, langoustine ravioli, or a lobster nage with saffron sauce.
