The quest for balance between fresh, mineral and mature notes. While too much cool freshness can be unfortunately typical of many Blanc de Blancs, Gardet has given theirs a bit of body to ensure its staying power.

Technical notes

Brut Blanc de Blancs is made of 100% Chardonnay from Premier Cru vineyards.
Dosage: about 6 g/L.
Serving temperature: between 8 and 10°C.
Cellaring: 3 to 5 years.

Qualities and characteristics

A green-yellow gold colour, soft and sparkling.

The aroma is the clear freshness of delicate vetiver, chlorophyll and citrus, particularly lemon peel. Below that, there are wheaty, bready notes.

On the palate it is direct, pure, fresh, fi nely constructed with a light, airy touch. As it warms gently, the mature notes give something more robust and smooth. The finish is ever-so-slightly bitter, pleasantly so, the result of a balanced dosage that respects the wine’s natural balance.

Fine cuisine pairings

Goes perfectly with white meats and can accompany dishes such as lemon chicken or a turkey breast filet with bleu cheese sauce.
