This rare Premier Cru Rosé was produced with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, from old vines.
This is a Rosé de "Saignée" whose colour was obtained by leaving the grapes to macerate for a few hours after the pressing, in order to get coloured juices. This process is very delicate, as it is very difficult to achieve the desired colour. It is therefore much less used than "blended" rosés.
With more structure than a blended rosé, this Rosée de Saignée and its strong berry aromas will be much appreciated with a meal, at an ideal temperature of 10 - 12°C.
