Vinification

This cuvée of great finesse is made from "Premier Crus" & "Grands Crus" from the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. It is a marriage of one third of each grape (Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier & Chardonnay).

Characteristics

Around 20% of the blend is older wines previously aged for 1 to 2 years in oak barrels. These precious reserve stocks give it a complexity and typicality that will delight Champagne amateurs. It then was matured on the "lies" for over 5 years.

Tasting

Aspect : fine bubbles producing a prolific mousse - Hint of Champagne with a touch of gold
Bouquet : elegant nose revealing a fine mature fruit
Taste: this wine has great complexity and length on the finish

Tasting Advice

This ripe and mature Champagne may be enjoyed as a fine aperitif or with good food at a temperature of 9 to 11°C.
