This Champagne comes from more than 30-year-old vines of Pinot Noir & Meunier grown in the "Premiers Crus" of the Montagne de Reims. Before the pressing, the grape bunches are totally destalked. It is only produced in especially good years when the Pinots have ripen to perfection.
This is a "blended" Rosé produced by blending white wine and red wine. The latter which gives to this Champagne its intense colour and strong aromas was previously stored for a few months in oak casks.
This is a rich and fruity wine, sturdy enough to serve with food, at an ideal temperature of 10t o 12°C.
